Who ''Understands the Game''

I was not going to get into this conversation about Jose Mourinho and the first team doctor Eva Carneiro but what the hack, lets not shove it under the carpet. It's one thing to disagree with staff who you are working with under the same umbrella of Chelsea Football club  amongst yourself but in public! that there clearly shows the tension that has been there for a while and it was about time it explodes. The recent rant of the boss with the first team doctor can't be easily ignored by soccer fans in the world and in particular professionals who are given the mandate to take are of the players welfare.

Am not a doctor but if that is your qualification and you are paid for it, why should it be a bother to someone else who doesn't need the attention of a doctor. This incident took a further twist after Mourinho players drew at Stamford Bridge for the fist game of the season when he said he wasn't happy with the medical staff because even if you are a medical doctor or secretary on the bench you have to understand the game'. Like seriously if the referee and the player called for help the doctors were suppose stick on their seats? That is definitely an answer we are all looking forward to hear from the special one or did he took a medical course during the break last season that we don't know?

Yap, i thought so. Do what you are paid for and let others as well do their job after all you need to understand this game better. If a player is faking injury it's your responsibility to talk to them because it will reflect on the game. Give Eva Carneiro a break!!

3 Year old Making Friends at School

My house is always full of laughter, cries, shouting and all sorts of fun and headaches all together in one package. She is about to turn 3 years  in the next few weeks but the last 2 months have been such an eye opener for me as a mother. My daughter is very good at observing things around and learning to open up to other people who are not family.

Since she joined baby school, she has had a different attitude. She listens more and very eager to tell me all about her new friends from school. Just the other day she came complaining about a girl at school who couldn't give her the chance to play the class piano. She goes ahead and tell me that girl is not her friend anymore because she couldn't share with her the Piano. At the end of the conversation she says she is the only good girl because she shares her things with other kids. I couldn't help but smile at the fact that she realizes that sharing make you a better person. But i had to point out the fact that everyone is good and her 'friend' in school just loves the piano more than other kids.

The next day she came back home, she was talking so positive of the same girl whom she said was not her friend. After listening to her, am more convinced that kids can be anything we adults have failed to be, do or see. Children are so forgiving, selfless and amazing creation. They learn everyday from what they see we adults doing or saying. As a mother am happy to see the other side of my daughter and how she is slowly relating to other people :-)

How Realistic are Your New Year Resolutions?

It's yet another new year were most people including myself make resolutions. The year is just beginning and everyone is thinking i want to change something different in my life this time round. The morale and enthusiasm is record high as there are one or two things you want to prove to other people. But how realistic are some of this resolutions? I happen to be at a function and over heard a young man probably early 30s resort of how he was going to buy a car, go for a holiday abroad and build a house in new year. After his thought loud resolutions, one other man very well known to him cast doubts of his buddies plan. To my curiosity i wanted to hang in there more and listen to his reasons. His friend apparently has been helping him meet his daily needs, sharing his apartment with him as the friend has been in a long search for a job. To make the story interesting, he has so much debts, love for the bottle and women.

So i kept thinking what is the most realistic resolution can you make and how achievable are your goals. Most of us start the year with so much energy and desire to work through the goals we have set but down the line, the attitude changes and you are back again to what you wanted to do away with in the first place. Bottom line is, make resolutions based on your situation and your ability to follow through. You have nothing to prove to anybody other than your self and if you achieve all your set goals for the year, Cheers to that!

Free your Life

We all have grown up being told how education is the key to life but is it a guarantee?. Perhaps not to some, education gives you the exposure and knowledge but what most parents forget is that skills are not always taught it's inborn. As much as we want to be ahead in life, doing what you love the most is the key to life. It's always rewarding, gives one a peace of mind and it shows you that you can be anything and have everything you ever wanted. You can not free yourself if you do what everybody else expects you to do, set yourself free let your wings fly and you will see your potential. Age, race, education status does not matter, only your attitude, your passion and determination always makes a difference. Let not the fear of failure hold you back, if you fall down get up even more stronger and wiser. The moment you trust your ability is the moment you set your life free. If you are destined to be great, you will be even 20 years down the line. Life has a way of rewarding determined people, be one of them.

Arsenal Beat The Deadline with Welbeck Signing.

Arsenal made a surprise last day signing of former Manchester United winger and this for sure is a boost for the Wenger's team. The signing is perhaps what most Arsenal fans welcome as the deadline window is closed. Addition of  Welbeck come in as a shock as there had been no prior interest known to the gunners as well as United fans. The England international is not just any other player, he has proved time and again his presence in a team and these signing will be one of those moment he will prove Van Gaal why he had to let him go. The centre- forward had impressive season during his stay at Manchester United under Alex Ferguson and gunners fans are hoping to see him turn around tables for a silver ware this season. Wenger decision to sign Welbeck despite being linked with other great players will be watched closely by his critics and the over 27 millions fans in the world. Was the signing a gamble, is he worth £16m and with his addition is Arsenal well prepared to lift a Champions League and English Premier League?. Time will tell, all we can say for now is welcome to Arsenal Welbeck!

TWO CONSECUTIVE AWAY DRAW FOR ARSENAL

Arsenal away game to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium come in with a lot of expectation from Arsenal fans especially after last week draw with Everton. Coming as a new team in the English premier league, Leicester played the game with a lot of motivation and desire to upset the gunners. I watched the game with much admiration for Leicester as they were confident in the game, well coordination amongst the player and displayed excellent performance. Arsenal on the other hand were too relaxed, missing good chances and this weakness was well taken to advantage by Leicester City counter attack. Just coming from last week draw with Everton, Arsenal fans expected a well prepared team ready to earn the three important points after weekend unexpected loss and draws from other teams. With the deadline transfer window closing down in the next 26 hours, most Arsenal fans are probably wondering is the Team ready to challenge the tittle this season, are there going to be any new signing before the window shuts down and what  is Wenger's plan to replace in injured players. We are yet to see Arsenal gain away three points.
